A controversial and charismatic character, Jochen Rindt's career ended tragically when he was killed during final practice for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. The image depicts his last Grand Prix victory at Hockenheim in which he out-maneuvered the Ferrari of Jackie Ickx on the final lap.
