Exceptionally, hypersalivation, reversible neurological signs (hyperaesthesia, depression, nervous signs), vomiting or respiratory signs have been observed after use. To protect against paralysis ticks, apply every 3 weeks for dogs and cats and for protection against brown dog ticks, apply monthly. Spray onto the entire surface of the body, keeping the bottle at an approximate distance of 10-20 cm.The product controls infestations with Trichodectes canis biting lice on dogs and Felicola subrostratus biting lice on cats. Apply the spray in the opposite direction of hair growth, making sure that all the hair or skin is wet with the product. Treated animals should not be handled until the fur is dry, and children should not be allowed to play with treated animals until the fur is dry.
One of my cats has long hair and it would be impossible to get it on his skin as directed on the label. This can be more difficult to apply, but in some situations is more effective, and there is a longer activation of the treatment.
The O'TOM Tick Twister is quick and easy to use, and comes in a plastic bag containing two sizes of Tick Twisters. If licking occurs, a brief period of hypersalivation may be observed due mainly to the nature of the carrier. It is a recommended precaution that you treat one room at a time and avoid the area for at least 60 minutes or until the area is dry, and then allow the area to air. The treatment and prevention of flea ( Ctenocephalides species) and tick ( Ixodes species) infestations in cats and dogs.
